Work

Five projects, told the way I’d report them to a partner: context, the remit, what I did, what it proved. Two are my own. Named where I have permission, withheld where I do not.

FOUNDER & SOLE ENGINEER LESHOP.MU, MAURITIUS · 2025–PRESENT

A marketplace on day one, a superapp by design

One engineer, a complete marketplace, and an architecture already right about mobility, payments, and compliance before any of them shipped.

PRINCIPAL ENGINEER & INTERIM CTO ELYOPS SA, GENEVA · 2023–2025

New foundations, under a clinic that never stopped

Sole engineer, then principal, then interim CTO of a Swiss surgical planning company. I rewrote the backend under a live clinical deployment, then hired the engineer who took over as CTO.

ADVISOR & ARCHITECT SOLAREX, MAURITIUS · 2026

The architecture was mine. The keyboard was someone else’s.

I specified the rebuild of a solar company’s public site and back-office: the data model, the lead-capture engine, the engineering guidelines, the pipelines. Their implementer built it. It is in production, and the next phase is underway.

FOUNDER & SOLE ENGINEER ISLAND EXPERIENCE LTD, MAURITIUS · 2018–2020

A marketplace finished weeks before the world closed

I founded, funded, and built a booking platform for Mauritian tour operators: three interfaces, payments, chat, search, reporting. It was finished, with operators signed, when the borders closed. It never took a booking.

TECHNICAL DECISION-MAKER GOVERNMENT HEALTH PROGRAMME, AFRICA · 2016–2018

Fifty clinics, and a system built to be handed on

Clinical records, practice management, and the reporting, operations and logistics systems around them, delivered into more than fifty clinics and documented for a separate firm to maintain. The programme and its technology remain confidential.
